Doris Thibaudeau Obituary

THIBAUDEAU, DORIS, 80, of School St., Central Falls, died Friday at Miriam Hospital.

A lifelong resident of Central Falls where she was a self-employed hairdresser and owner of Doris' Beauty Salon for 45 years and where she was a communicant of St. Matthew Church. An avid embroiderer and quilter, she was a member of the Embroidery Guild of RI; Narragansett Bay Quilters and Slatersville Quilters.

Survivors are one daughter, Mary Taylor O'Connor of Central Falls; one son, David A. Thibaudeau of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; one granddaughter, Heather O'Connor of Austin, TX and one grandson, Alan O'Connor of Central Falls; and her companion of many years, Gerard Cournoyer. She was the sister of the late Joseph A., Edward C., and Therese Watier.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls. Calling hours will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
