Joan Andrews Obituary

ANDREWS, JOAN M., 71, of Harold Street, Riverside, died peacefully on August 9, 2008 at Orchard View Manor surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Andrews.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Forrest A. and Rose H. (Smith) Truesdale, she lived in Riverside for 6 months previously residing in Providence for 70 years. Mrs. Andrews was an office clerk for the former Fleet Bank Operation Center for 15 years before retiring in 1990.

She is survived by two daughters; Lorraine S. Morse of Riverside and Robin I. Andoscia of Pepperell, MA, a son; Arthur J. Andrews III of Warwick, a sister; Beverly A. Perry of Warrenton, VA, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Elaine A. Shaw and Janet M. Forgue.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday August 14, 2008 from the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 7:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside at 9 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
