Jeanette Brown Obituary

BROWN, JEANETTE 85, passed away August 15, 2008. She was the wife of the late Kenneth L. Brown. Born in Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Ethel (Mellish) Carlisle. Mrs. Brown was employed by Citizen's Bank.

She is survived by sons; Robert L. and Allen K. Brown; a sister, Alice Nathan and grandchildren; Heather Pierson and Todd Brown. She was the sister of the late George Carlisle.

Funeral Monday at 11:00am in the Hill Funeral Home, 822 Main St., E. Greenwich. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, N. Kingstown. Calling hours Sunday, 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Brown was such a kind person. I remember Easter´s with her at Aunt Patty & Uncle Bob´s. She always brought a gift for me - a small basket of flowers or something just simple and elegant. Just as she will be remembered - a classic and elegant woman.
