Vito Coppa Obituary

COPPA, VITO, 86, of Hoffman Ave., Cranston, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Picucci) Coppa.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Aniello and Anna (Matarese) Coppa.

He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran.

Besides his wife, he was the dear brother of Mary Pugliesi of Warwick, Ann Gordon of Alabama and the late Ralph Coppa, and loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, Garden City Dr., Cranston. Entombment will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to: American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
