Dolores Silliphant Obituary

SILLIPHANT, DOLORES (COSTA), 77, of Larry Lane, Riverside, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at the Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of John 'Jack' Silliphant.

Born July 20, 1931, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Costa and Margaret (Souza) Costa Rego. Mrs. Silliphant worked for 15 years at Warren Ave. Hardware.

In addition to her husband of 48 years, she leaves her daughter Jody Ann Hegner of Norwell, MA; her son, Jack F. Silliphant of East Providence; and her granddaughter, Georgia Hegner. She was the sister of Gilda Amoruso of Sarasota, FL and of the late Louis, James, Herman, Joseph, Helen and Pat Costa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday at 9 a.m. at St. Brendan's Church, Turner Ave., Riverside. Burial will follow at the RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Rhode Island Hospital Chapel Fund, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901.
