Mary Fisher Obituary

FISHER, MARY A. (MURRAY) 92, died Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at North Bay Manor in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Harry Fisher

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Thomas and Kathryn (Maguire) Murray. Mrs. Fisher lived in Lincoln for many years before moving to Smithfield in 2004. She and her husband owned and operated the Fairlawn Theatre for over 30 years, she then worked as a customer service rep. for Blue Cross/ Blue Shield for 10 years before retiring in 1985. She was the sister of John V. Murray and his wife Josephine of Greenville and the late, James,Thomas, Raymond, William and Gerald Murray. She was the sister in-law of Annette, Johanna and Marion Murray; cousin of Rita McDonald and William Tallman. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rte.44) Greenville, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave. at 9:30 am. Burial will be private. Calling hours respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Care of RI, 169 George St. Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
