Billy still comes up in stories told by our golf group at Valley CC. He was one of the fastest players I ever played with. Always with a story of his own that kept us laughing the whole round. Billy, you are sorely missed. Your friendship is still cherished.

Dear Marie and Family,
God took home one of the kindest, sweetest guys he ever placed on this earth. I will always remember my times with Bill in therapy sessions and how much fun we had. No matter how tough each session might have been, he never gave up!
And despite what he was going through, he was always most concerned about Marie and his family.
Unselfish to the end. His courage and strength were truly an inspiration. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you,

My heartfelt condolences to the Kessel family. Bill was my first cousin and I grew up with he and his brother Tom. I have fond memories of him as a child when we would go and feed the ducks along the river at Michigan State University, and remember how he used to enjoy playing ice hockey during the winter in our back yard. I will always remember him for his sense of humor and am grateful for the time we spent together. Meagan and Kyle, please feel free to contact me if there is anything at all I can do. Bill will be so sadly missed by us all. Love to you, Nancy Adams Pritchard. (Katie)

We felt so fortunate that you and Bill joined us for our fundraiser in Newport this summer. We were so inspired by Bill's courageousness as a survivor and Marie's courageousness as a partner and caregiver. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Marie, Bonnie and I am so sorry for your loss. Bill will be missed greatly by his many friends. Our golf matches have been a lot slower since Bill became ill. He was known by everyone for his fast play. Many times we joked with him that he was beating us because we couldn't keep up with him. Bonnie and I are leaving for Maryland today, Thursday, for the weekend and therefore will not be able to attend the calling hours or the Mass of Christian Burial, but please know we will be thinking of you and your family during this difficult time. God Bless you all. Don and Bonnie Gray, West Warwick.

Meagan and Kyle, my heart goes out to the both of you. your Dad was a great man and he loved you both very much. i remember the both of us growing up as kids together, and we shared some great times. when i left for the Marines Corps in 1972, we lost touch with each other and never did get a chance to talk. but your Mom and I have stayed in contact with each other thru out the years. i never did meet Marie, but i am sure she is a wonderful person. if you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact me. My family and myself pray that you can find peace and love thru all of the pain you are suffering. Mark, Connie, Jackie and Lauryn Adams, San Diego, Ca
