Bernard Murriel Obituary

MURRIEL, BERNARD, 51, formerly of Providence, died Sunday, October 19th, at Louis Smith Hospital, Lakeland, GA. He was the husband of Felicia Darlene (Cook) Murriel.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Clifton Murriel and Ozzie (Bryant) Murriel.

Bernard was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife, he is survived by children, Elijah and Jonathan Murriel, both of Brooklyn, NY, Shavon Murriel of Providence, Alieta, Michael and Chantal Cook, all of Pawtucket, siblings, Anthony Murriel of Bronx, NY and Barbara Murriel of Jacksonville, FL, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great, grandchild. He was the brother of the late Eugene Murriel.

Funeral 11am Wednesday in Bright Funeral Home, 290 Public Street, Providence; viewing begins at 10am. Burial, with military honors, will be at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. www.Bright-FuneralHome.com
