I remember Cousin Joe visiting our family during the summer and playing ball in the backyard while our fathers cooked burgers and hot dogs on the grill. We lost touch over the years but I will always remember the good times we had together as kids. I look forward to hooking up again with him in heaven. Please accept my condolences.

Joe,

You were a good man, a loving husband and father, but most of all, a great family friend. You will be sorely missed by all.

Take care, friend.

To Joe's entire family,
I would like to extend my deepest heartfelt sympathy. Joe and I worked together at Narragansett Electric. Joe was a mentor to me and a friend. His fun loving wit and his smile has left an impression on those of us, who were lucky enough to know him, that will last forever. I still tell Joe McLaughlin stories at work every day. The things we shared and the love he showed me will always be a part of who I am.
Joe may your journey home be peaceful one. God bless you, rest peacefully in eternity, my friend, my brother.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. —Psalm 4:8

Help From God

God is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.
God can help you to cope with the death of someone you love.

Throw your burden upon God himself, and he himself will sustain you. If talking out your feelings with a sympathetic friend can help, how much more will pouring out your heart to “the God of all comfort” help you!

God can equip you with “power beyond what is normal” to go from one day to the next.

May these words give you a measure of comfort.
