Filomena DiOrio Obituary
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Andrea and Esterina (Petricca) Rossi and had been the wife of Carmino 'Bibs' DiOrio for 61 years.
Mrs. DiOrio had worked as an office clerk for the DiZoglio Paper Co. before retiring.
She was the beloved mother of Ronald DiOrio and his wife Joanne; grandmother of Nicholas and Andreana DiOrio; sister of Anthony Rossi and the late Lorenzo Rossi.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Interment will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of RI, 757 Park Avenue, Cranston, RI 02910. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. We are so sorry we couldn't be there for you. Remember all the good times and I'm sure it will bring comfort. Philly was a wonderful person. She always made us feel like family when we were with her. I'm so glad we were able to visit with Philly through the summer months when we were in town.
