Owen Thornburg Obituary
Owen was born in Kalkaska on July 15, 1949. He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force from 1968 until 1972. Owen graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Business in 1980 and worked for 25 years for Kerry Steel in Dearborn.
Owen is predeceased by his mother Helen (Sieting) Thornburg. He is survived by his father, Darwin (Jean) Thornburg; his sisters, Amanda Kibby and Isabelle (Jim) Gaylord; brothers Mike (Kathy) and Glen; sons Robert (Loralei) and Ryan; and grandchildren Julianna (2) and Nathan (3 mos.).
Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ, 128 Cedar Street, Kalkaska MI 49646.
