Gay, we started this journey together 22 years ago. It was with an aching heart that I had to end it with you so soon. I want you to know it was an honor to hold your hand as you slipped into your heavenly home. You have been my sister for the last 25 years and have been a source of strenght and comfort to me. You always listened to any problems or fears I had and you gave me comfort when it should have been me comforting you. Just know that I love you so much and will miss you more than words can say. Know that you will forever be in my heart. You have taught me so many valuable things about life and how not only how to deal with people, but to respect people. Everything that we have accomplished as your children, we owe to you. You taught us strength, courage, reliability, and how to be one as a family. Those traits will continue even though you are no longer physically here with us. You did so much for many people and you touched the lives of anyone you came into contact with. You were my everything. I'm going to miss talking to you every night as we always did, those times we shared laughing, joking, reminiscing about times we shared as a family, and those special holidays we all spent together. I know that your spirit will always be with us. You were so strong and you proved that so many times beating the doctors odds for 22 years. You always told us that god has the final say when we must go on to that golden place. Again Gay, I just want to say thanks again for everything. We are going to be fine as a family because of the strong platform that you left for us. You legacy will always live on. I love you and you will forever be in my heart.
