My toughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I knew Al for many years. We worked together at the old Chippenham district. I shared "Al" stories with his Cousin Bobby on numerous occasions. I will miss him.

Dear family,
I'll never forget the first time I met ole Al...he came in for an interview for a serviceman's position at Chippenham District around 1975 (?) and he was as laid back and polite and he wore loafers, jeans, tee shirt and NO SOCKS! I have loved him from that day forward and for many years...he helped me move from Richmond to the Norfolk District in 1977...some things you just never ever forget...God bless you all and to ole Al, God speed, my ole buddy, God speed....I will always remember you....your "cutest" girl at VEPCO!

Kathy,
I am so very sorry about your husband. I did not know him well, but I do remember him from when we were teenagers hanging around "Kenneys". Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family and know that you will be in my prayers daily. God bless you.

Kathy, Erica, Lucas and family: I know there are no words to comfort you at this point, but please know that you all are in my thoughts and in my prayers. I pray that our Lord brings you peace that passes all understanding. Al is in a place far more beautiful then anything you could ever imagine.

Erica and Family,
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Times like this are not easy and no one can tell you it will be okay. Losing a loved one is tough but always remember God is with you and your family. We all now have another angel looking over us in this crazy world. We love you,
Nancy and Taylor

Dear Kathy and Family,
I cannot tell you how sorry I was to learn of your loss of Al. He was such a source of laughter to those of us who knew him, and I know he was a husband, dad and grandpa of complete support and love to all of you. He was your rock. I will never forget how you were my rock a year ago, and I hope that you will let me be one for you now. Even though you have been such a support to others experiencing loss, your gift of caring and loving is in a different place now, so please let us know what we can do for you. One sentence that meant a lot to me returns to me over and over, and I would like to share it with you in hopes that you, too, will find comfort: While we weep and wave farewell, there are many on the other side waving, singing, smiling and shouting "Welcome Home!"
Love to you all,
Susan
