Charles Eugene Copenhaver, 61, of Bristol, Va., died Monday, October 13, 2008. Funeral services 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at Mountain View United Methodist Church. Arrangements by Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie, Va.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I had no idea Charlie had lived in Bristol for so long and that he had been sick. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Kathie I am so sorry to hear of Charlie's death (He and I graduated in the class of '65 from CHS). I remember him as being a sweet and compassionate person. I feel your sorrow and grief in that I had to give up my brother 2 1/2 years ago with leukemia. We can take comfort in knowing that they are in a better place now free from pain and suffering.
