DEAR TERESA,
I LOVE YOU. HANNAH WAS CLOSE TO MY FAMILY WHEN SHE WAS YOUNG. I REMEMBER PLAYING WITH HER ON THE SWINGS IN MY BACK YARD AND RACING HORSES AROUND MY POOL TABLE. I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR YOU AND HANNAH THAT SHE IS IN HEAVEN LOOKING DOWN ON US AND SHE IS COMFORTING YOU. SHE IS A BEAUTIFUL LADY. I THINK BACK AND I HAVE SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES. THERE IS A SAYING THAT HELPED ME. ITS SAYS " LIVE YOUR LIFE LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW BUT WHEN TOMARROW COME THEN KEEP YOUR FRIENDS WITH YOU AS YOUR FAMILY AND REMEMBER TO HAVE YOUR LIFE EVEN IF IT IS GONE" I HOPE IT HELPS YOU TO. I WILL CONTINUE PRAYING
WITH LOVE,

We have put you on so many prayer lists in our local churches. Please know how many people value you in the midst of this pain. My children attend Faith Christian and my second grader remembers Hannah as a brave girl who overcame physical limitations from her riding accident last year. My son was in Hannah's class. Please have courage and know that Hannah served as an inspiration beyond her years. May her courage and Christ's comfort sustain you now.

Dear Teresa -- What tributes to Hannah you will find on these pages. You and Jeff certainly raised an amazing young girl. As so many have said, Hannah absolutely never complained, even when she was in pain from her horseback riding accident last year. Her lovely smile truly lit up a room, and her exuberant laugh brought happiness to all in her presence. How I loved having her ride in my car during field trips...she always had such a good time with the kids. Hannah was a thoroughly happy child, and obviously in love with Jesus. May He now be your comfort and your sustenance. People are praying for you all around the world...literally! I am praying God's blessings on you, and that you will rest in the strength of His arms.

Mrs. George,
I do not know your family personally, but I wanted you to know that my family and I are praying for you. The grief you are experiencing must be beyond belief. Yet, I know that your faith in our Lord will sustain you in the difficult days ahead. Psalm 68:19 says "Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens." It is a comfort to know that God bears our burdens daily, hourly, and even moment by moment.
You are in our prayers.

I will miss Hannah. It is so sad to see her place empty in my class. I often put little pictures on my student's desks, a ballerina for a dancer, a basketball for an athlete. Weeks ago, on Hannah's desk I put a little princess. Hannah was truly a daughter of our King Jesus. She remained cheerful in class. She was always respectful. She always asked great questions having put in a lot of thought before she came to me for help. Wednesday in class they were doing a lab. It caused much hilarity as the students kept getting tangled up in the strings we were using to make our measurements. I clearly remember her laughter and the light that was in her eyes. We all cried together at our school on Thursday, but we do not grieve as those who have no hope. Our hope is in Christ Jesus as now Hannah sees him face to face. Tricia Iler

Teresa,
The last time that I saw Hannah was the night that we all went to the Salem game together and as we were all leaving, she and Jeff were walking hand in hand together leaving the stadium amongst the throng of others.. they looked so happy and calm. They were so similar, even the way they walked and tilted their heads. One of the things that has helped me over the last several days is that image, I feel that' s also how they entered heaven together. I hope that same thought helps you. She was a wonderful girl, truly a blessing to those around her and a testimony of your and Jeff's love and committment to each other and God.

No one can truly imagine the pain you are going through. My heart is heavy and aches for you. Although the following quote is from Romeo and Juliet, I think it is appropriate for the love of both your huband and beautiful daughter. May God bless you, hold you tight in his arms and comfort your heart and soul until you reunite in the glory of Heaven.

Mrs. George,
Our daughter, Lori Dalton, called us yesterday to tell us of the tragedy that your family has experienced. We were stunned. We of course did not know you, Dr. George, or Hannah, but we did know how much Allison treasured the friendship she had with Hannah and how much she will miss her. Hannah was the special friend that Allison needed as she came to a new school, knowing no one. Hannah became that special friend. Their love for horses increased that closeness, but it seemed to be much more their similar feelings that drew them close. The freshman class dinner was one of those things. We have recently had a death in our family and I was reminded that God does not take our loved ones, He receives them to their everlasting home.

Dear Mrs. George
I am writing to let you know how truly sad we are for the terrible accident that claimed your husband and daughter. We lost our 27 year old son just this past Saturday in a motor vehicle accident, as well. Kevin was moving to Snowshoe, West Virginia, to begin a new job on top of the mountain. He was so excited with his new adventure. In the midst of our grief we learned of your loss. We don't know what to say, but understand the unimaginable pain you feel. We know your heart is broken, and can only pray that you may find some comfort in the days to come as you reflect on their lives and the many joys you have shared together. We can see already what wonderful friends you have. May they lift you up and comfort you.

Hannah was an amazing person. She was an angel among us. Her smile could light up any room, no matter how dark. Her smile was always there, comforting anyone and everyone. She is loved and will always be missed, however we may take comfort in knowing that she is now with both her heavenly and earthly fathers. We will always remember her at Faith Christian, no matter how far down the road it may be. We love the whole family and are all praying for them.

Hannah was a happy and content person, she really reflected the light of Christ. It was a joy to know her. And it is also a joy to know that right now she is dancing with the angels and praising the God of her heart. I pray for comfort for Mrs.George and want her to know that she is in God's hands and that we will all be raised to see her again, fully ALIVE in Christ Jesus. In the love of Christ and peace of the Holy Spirit, praise the Lord God all Mighty,

Mrs. George,
I am so terribly sorry for your loss and I can not say I know the greif you are feeling in losing your child and husband. I can say that I will miss Hannah so much. Mrs. George i want to tell you how mmuch your daughter ment to me. Although very quite your daughter spoke through her actions. Her blue eyes always had a bottomless joy which she also convied through her beautiful smile that never went away even on the worst days. Mrs. GEorge I know your daughter knew Jesus for He touched me through her every day . Her love and joy brightend our class. Infact the last memory i have of Hannah is her helping people in our class with ther Physics home work. I never heard one mean or disrespectful word come from your daughters mouth . Philippians 2 : 14 - 15 always comes to mind when i think of HAnnah . This verse says to do everything without complaining or arguing so that you can become blameless children of Godwithout fault in a crooked and depraved generation in which you shine like stars. Oh and HAnnah did shine . We will all miss her , her precious smile and laugh . thank the Lord for your daughter. I pray He will comfort you and give you strength GOd bless

dear mrs. george,
i have no tears left to cry...when i heard about what hapenned to hannah and you husband i didnt know what to say or what to do..i just wept. i want to let you know that yesterday at school was one of the hardest days of my life, just knowing that she was never going to open her locker ever again, or sit in her seat in class made me feel so uneasy inside. but then i thought about why is opening her locker or sitting in her seat in class important when shes sitting with God in heaven and dancing with Jesus as i type this letter to you. That made me feel comfort and joy inside. i think that God had a plan for this and i wish you could have seen the fcs community yesterday...everyone came together and hugged and wepted together. Even people that didnt know eachother came together in Christs name. Hannah was a beautiful and very special girl to everyone that knew her. i'll never forget the 8th grade feild trip when me and etta were in the car with her, and everything she talked about was happy and positive even though it was boiling hot outside she didnt complain and she even offered to buy me a drink. thats just an example of the type of girl she was. I love hannah, and she will always be in my heart forever and ever amen.
In Christ,

Hannah is a great girl who always had a smile on her face. We will all miss her and we are all praying for her mother. I know she loved horses. When i first meet Hannah she was talking about her 2 horses. Hannah will always be remembered at our school. She never was in a bad mood or had a bad attitude, that is one of the things I liked about her. She sometimes was very quite but she always knew the right thing to say.

Hannah was an amazing addition to our class. She had such a sweet spirit and a smile that brightened up the entire room once she walked through the door. I never heard one complaint from Hannah. She always had such a positive attitude and she really showed Christ through her actions. Her willingness to help others was very apparent. The last class I had with Hannah was a study hall, and I asked if anyone could help me with Physics. She smiled and gladly explained the concept to me. She was such an inspiration to our entire class and a roll model for us as well. She was a blessing to me individually as well as a blessing for the entire Faith Christian School community. With her love for horses, I can just imagine her riding a horse to heaven, hand in hand with her father. Hannah, you will be greatly missed and know that you were very loved.

Hannah was so sweet. She was so caring and never turned her back on anyone. Whatever you needed, she would try and help you. Whenever I had a volleyball game, she would ask about it and wish me luck. She would help me with my notes during class if I missed something while the teacher was talking, and she helped me with Physics when I didn't understand centripetal force. She always included everyone and was a friend with everyone. She had such a heart for all her classmates, and she showed it through just the way she smiled at you. She worked so hard at everything she did. She loved her horses and the pictures of her riding were beautiful. Hannah was a blessing in my life, and will forever have an impact on me. I love Hannah, and love her family, too. You will always be in my prayers, George family.

I can't begin to express what a loss we feel here at Faith Christian School. Nor can I begin to comprehend the pain that you are bearing. I can only imagine the pain you are going through but Mrs. George I do know that the Lord gives us strength in every situation. I am so very, very sorry. I did not know your husband or child but my prayers and thoughts are with you. May God bless and keep you in the palm of his hands.
December 5, 2008
Mrs. George,
I don't know your family at all; I only heard about what happened through the news. But I very recently experienced a similar loss and I understand the pain you must feel; your husband and daughter sound like such good and wonderful people. My heart goes out to you and your loved ones. I sincerely hope you're able to find peace and hope through the Atonement of Jesus Christ; I know that He knows your pain and sheds tears right along with you. I don't know what you believe (I am LDS), but knowing the Savior's love for me (and all of us) is how I have found comfort; I have peace and joy in knowing that families can be together forever through our Heavenly Father's plan and through Christ's Atonement. I'm eternally grateful to know I'll be with my loved ones again. May the Lord carry you through this time of sorrow.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
With love, Summer Kellogg

Teresa, I can't begin to tell you how much my heart goes out to you at this terrible time. I still have the beautiful picture of Hannah you sent soon after she was born. I also have many memories of you and Jeff. I love you and want you to know that my Prayers are with you. I also have a love of horses and know the passion.

Dear Teresa,
I know mere words are totally inadequate, but just know I am thinking of you with deep affection and remembrance, hope and prayers for you. I cannot even pretend to know any of what you could possibly be feeling right now. The only thing I know is that I will ask God to take care of you and be with you. Just know that you are in my prayers and know how much our family sends our love and prayers to you. May the Lord be with you and strengthen you.
Peace in Christ,
The VanDaalen Family....Cheryl, Jim & Rachel

Hannah was beautiful and amazing. She was always on Jeff's mind when we operated together. Hannah and Teresa were the most important parts of Jeff, and then his work. I was privileged to work and spend time with them and the amazing Teresa for a brief period of time in MI. I am praying for you Teresa.

Mrs. George, I can not even begin to understand or imagine the pain you must be experiencing in your loss. I remember Hannah's bright smile during the times that I substituted at Faith and had Hannah in my class.
God be with you during this most difficult time.

I will never forget sweet little Hannah and her deep love for horses that of course reminded me of my own when I was that age. I still have that passion, and I could tell it was going to be a lifelong thing for you as well. Hannah, I know you've got yourself all kinds of horses and ponies up there and are having a blast. Ride on, sweet girl.

Hannah was an amazing girl. You could tell by her spirit that she had a love for God and her classmates. The school day will not be the same without her. Her smile was unique something that can never be forgotten. Even though she never spoke often you could still see the joy and peace in her face. I will never forget her laugh that you could hear and tells whose it was from across the room. She was also always eager to help anyone and do what ever you asked of her.
Much Love,
Anna Willis

Dear Mrs. George,
Hannah always had a beautiful smile as I remember her at Grace Christian School. It seemed that she had a wonderful spirit and enjoyed the Christmas programs at Grace. My children and I will miss her.

Although I did not personally know your husband and daughter, I heard the story on the radio this morning and was so sad for you and your family. The community of Huntington has lost two special people and our family would like to send our condolences. RIP Dr. George and daughter Hannah.
