Palmer Bradley Obituary

Palmer Weaver Bradley, 83, of Lexington, Va., died on Sunday, December 7, 2008. He was born August 22, 1925, in Waiteville, W.Va., a son of the late Ezra Maxwell Bradley and Annie Pearl Hall Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Elden Maxwell Bradley; and a sister, Leona (Peggy) Bradley Baber. He was retired from Burlington Industries after 39 years as an electrician. Mr. Bradley was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany. Surviving are a special, devoted and caring companion, Flossie Fix; two nephews, Elden Maxwell Bradley Jr. and Wendell W. Bradley; a niece, Gayle Bradley Johnston; and special friends, Sam and Gwen Long. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Harrison Funeral Chapel, with Dr. James Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
