Janice Loraine Linkous

Janice Loraine Linkous, 62, of Blacksburg, Va., died Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County, Va., on July 24, 1946, to the late Ellis Wade and Minnie Lou Effinger Linkous. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Estes. She is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mazie L. Adams, of Christiansburg, Lottie L. and Paul Sult, and Melissa L. and Jerry Linkous, all of Blacksburg; a brother-in-law, Steve Estes, of Blacksburg; two nieces; four nephews; and many friends. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Sloss officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, S.W., Blacksburg, Va.
