Harry Duncan Obituary

Harry Edward Duncan, 83, of Hardy, Va., passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009. He was born in Franklin County, October 3, 1925, the son of the late William S. Duncan and Addie McGuire Duncan. Surviving is his wife, Evelyn F. Duncan; daughter, Patricia Shepherd and her husband, Skip, of Hardy; and two grandchildren, Chris and Carrie. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009, at Nineveh Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Roy Heinlen officiating. Interment will follow in the Duncan Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, February 20, 2009, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.

Judy, and family..I am so sorry for your loss. My prayer is that God will embrace you all in his arms and breathe his love and peace over you. May you be comforted by our Heavenly Father always. I am out of town for several weeks and cannot be there to support you in person, please know my heart is there at this time with you all.
