It has been 10 years since we lost my dad and it still hurts and I truly miss him daily. Nothing is the same anymore without him here. He was MOST DEFINITELY the glue that held everything together. Everything is so lost and misguided now. Doesn't seem like anything is fair and balanced anymore. I love you dad and can't wait to see you again!!

Dear Ones:
My heart hurts for your great loss of a wonderful husband, and daddy.
I'll always remember Bobby with a pipe in his mouth, saying, in his low gravelly voice, "Now, Beth..." or "Now, Rob..." That was the end of the discussion.
He didn't talk alot, but when he spoke we listened. Steady, strong, wise and faithful.
We loved him.
I knew Bobby and all of you when we lived in Stanleytown from l972 - 1977.
Judy, I'm not sure I would have come to know the Lord without your faithfulness in answering my questions, and loving me through tough times in my life.
Thanks from all of us whose lives you've touched.

God bless you all and in the future. You were blessed to have had Bobby's devotion and love all these years. You are also blessed to know he is looking down on you to help guide you and watch over you. He and the Lord are golfing as we speak and he is smiling that smile. Let Doug and I know if we can help.

My daddy....there are so many words to accurately describe him.
From my childhood to present, he was always there; support, love, humor, honesty, fairness, decency, guidance, and strength.... HE WAS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME.
My father "provided our family with all the things he had never had", and it seemed his purpose was always to benefit us, my mom, brother, and two precious grandchildren.
The loss of such a beloved father and friend is the most difficult thing I have ever had to face in my life. I am blessed in that I have a lifetime of tremendous memories to hold onto, and that I was by his side through this past year of difficulty and sickness. No matter how close our relationship was , however, I was not prepared for the unrelenting, painful loss of my sweet daddy.
I adore you daddy and I look so forward to seeing you again soon. You are my heart and all that I am I learned from you.
Thank you all for your kind words and for the thoughfulness and prayers you have shown my family through your love and helpfulness at this most difficult time.
God Bless.

Judy, Beth and Family,
I did not know Bobby long but he always joked with me when I came by the nurshing home to see my Dad. I would go by to say hello to Bobby and he always had a smile for me. I know how difficult of a time this will be for you and how much Bobby will be missed. Keep your hearts open because he will come and touch you for a long time to come. My deepest sympathy to you and your families.

to the greatest man i'll ever know. if there ever was a perfect husband, father, grandfather, son or friend, that was my dad. he always put everyone elses needs before his own. he was a very hard worker both in his employment and at his home or farm or his many business endeavors. he cherished his family. he created everything for his family and provided like no other. he cared deeply about his community and tried in many different ways to help his community. he did not have a negative bone in his body, was not judgemental and had a great set of ears that he listened with. he always was smiling and joking and carrying on with everybody that he came in contact with. he had a direction that he took in his life and he stayed the course until the end. he also created a wonderful path for his family to follow. he was a devoted christian and lived his entire life accordingly. he just wanted the very best for his entire family and worked his entire life to achieve that. he will be greatly missed, but at the same time, i most definitely know where he is and he is most deserving of that. i think it will be a great pleasure for the LORD to welcome him to HIS home. there were many things that we did not get to do and many places that we did not get to go that we wanted to, but on the other hand, we did so much and i'm so thankful for that. he was the one person on this earth that i could talk to about anything, seek advice or direction and get the best. i will greatly miss that the most. he was the greatest everything to me.
