I met John when he worked security at Tweeds years ago. He reminded me so much of my dad, who was also named John, that I struck up a friendship with him there. Lovely man! May you find comfort in your faith and memories of him.

Dear Grandma and Mom,
I am sorry about your loss. When I think of Grandad, I think about him smiling and saying,"How sweet it is!" followed by a hearty laugh! He lived a long life and gave me the great gift of my mother Linda. For that, I am extremely grateful.

Dear Linda,Virginia, I was sorry to hear of Mr. Eversons passing. The first thing I thought about were childhood memories of the Milkman and the first motorcycle ride I ever had. He gave me a ride going under the train tressel toward Vinton when a train was going by and he told me to tell my parents a train ran over us. He liked to joke and was a friendly guy. Later when he worked for Foodlion he always asked how Mom was doing. She lives with Wayne now. She to was sad to hear of Johnnie's passing also. If I can do anything please let me know. Glad we were neighbors for so many years. I ask God's comfort for you and your family. With much sympathy, Sheryl (Wilkerson) English and Pauline Wilkerson.
