Stella Quesinberry Obituary

Stella Mae Lundy Blevins Quesinberry, 93, of Galax, Va., passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2009, at Twin County Regional Hospital. Mrs. Quesinberry was born in North Carolina on July 24, 1916, to Cooper and Rosabelle Norman Lundy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred F. Blevins and Arnold Quesinberry. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Alton Horton, of Galax, Va.; granddaughter and spouse, Judy and Curtis Webb; great-grandchildren, Ryan Webb and Christy Webb; sisters-in-law, Opal Goad and Sadie Horton, both of Hillsville, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2009, in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Steve Gayheart officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, August 13, 2009, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Twin County Hospice, P.O. Box 106, Galax, Va. 24333. A guest book is available online at www.vaughanguynn.com
