Henry Bodzioney

Henry (Hank) Bodzioney, 56, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Bodzioney; and his dear Aunt Angie. Hank was a dear friend and co-worker to many. He was employed as a respiratory therapist for Avante Health Care Center in Roanoke and more recently for the University of Virginia Medical Center. He was known and loved for his unique sense of humor and for his many "Hankisms." He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed creating cactus and succulent arrangements and traveling. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Lori Bodzioney; sons, Anthony "Tony" Bodzioney and wife, Lisa, and Joe LaRovere and wife, Tami, of Phoenix; daughter, Sabra Bodzioney and Clark, of California; grandchildren, Tyler, Owen, Dylan, Nicholas, Dominic, Gianna, Keeley, and Ashley; mother, Anna Bodzioney, of Strongsville, Ohio; brothers, Stan Bodzioney and wife, Judy, of Tuscon, and John Fosco and wife, Vicky, of Strongsville, Ohio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Phyllis and Everett Wallin, of Marshall, Minn.; and supportive friends, family members and work family members too numerous to mention. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Carilion Hospice Services, 1917 Franklin Road, Roanoke, Va. 24016.
