I was out of town last week and just heard of Jeff's passing. I'm shocked to say the least. I worked with Jeff directly and indirectly for many years. Jeff always had a smile, a kind word, and a very humble and calm demeanor. I don't ever recall seeing him visibly upset or irritated. He always seemed to be someone with true inner peace, and it reflected in his conduct and actions toward others. Jeff will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Carol, may God be with you and your family and give you all comfort and peace with his passing. Jeff left many footprints that you can be proud of.

I had just seen Jeff on Thursday before his passing and talked a little about some work related items he was helping me with. We then made a small joke about it, chuckled a little, and went off in different directions through the plant.
I will miss him.

Jeff will sadly be missed as both a co-worker & a friend. He was actually the very last person that I ran into in Plant 2 last Friday afternoon, October 16, as I was leaving for the day. He greeted me with a huge smile on his face, as he always did, while asking me if I was done for the day. In response, I told him, "Yes, I'm ready for the weekend." With an even bigger smile, he responded back to me, "Boy, I am too." I really did not realize the importance of this small, innocent conversation until learning of his passing just two very short days later, for he was ready for more than just the weekend. He was also ready to meet his Savior.
I am humbly HONORED to both work with & know Jeff for the past 11 years. He was trully a good man with a huge smile on his face everytime you'd meet him, and he never had a bad word about anyone. He will be sadly missed by everyone at GDATP, Marion Ops!
May GOD touch each one of you by both comforting and soothing your heavy hearts, souls, & minds. GOD BLESS!!!

To the Family, I am sorry to read of your loss of such a young man. I am just curious and I know this is not the appropriate time, but I wonder if he could be kin to me. My grandparents were Bise's and they once lived in Saltville. Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Thanks.

Jeff was truly a wonderful person. One of the most humble and kind that I have ever known. I know that Janice thought a great deal of him and it was truly an honor to have him in our extended family. Carol, Cody, Ruth, Burt and Josh, I know that you have a painful time ahead of you. Burt and I were talking yesterday that Jeff is ok. He is home, safe and happy in the presence of his savior. It is always the ones left behind that have this terrible loss to get through. Rest assured that he and his Dad have reunited and they along with Janice and other loved ones that have gone on are looking over you all. May God give you peace.
Love Sandy
