Helen Daugherty Obituary

Helen Beaver Daugherty, 82, of Roanoke, Va., and formerly of Landis, N.C., died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Daugherty; her son, Richard A. Daugherty; her parents, John Earl and Emily Swink Beaver; and her brother, James Earl Beaver. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Daugherty, of Roanoke, Va.; her sister, Judy Ripley, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five nieces and nephews; and many grand-nieces and nephews. Carolyn would like to thank the staff of Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care and support. Please make memorials to your favorite charity. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009, in Westlawn Cemetery, Landis, N.C., with the Rev. Billy Honeycutt officiating. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131. Arrangements in North Carolina by Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 704-857-2494.

Hello...my name is Bertha Williams Kirkland, my nickname is Ginger....I used to work for Bayada Nurses up until Nov 2005, and I think I used to help take care of Mrs. Daughtery...I am truly sorry about Mrs. Daughtery's passing...her family will be in my prayers...My name was Bertha Williams at the time I was working for Bayada Nurses...
