Lydia Fleenor Obituary

Lydia Pauline Fleenor, 93, of Roanoke, Va., a resident of Friendship Manor, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 23, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Leo Fleenor Sr.; son, Fred B. Fleenor; daughter, Betty Lou Salmon; son-in-law, Richard Salmon; granddaughter, Beverley Sue Fleenor; two brothers; and two sisters. Lydia was a member of Hollins Road Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Juanita and Brian Stapleton; son and daughter-in-law, Hubert Jr. and Dot Fleenor; devoted daughter-in-law, Hazel Fleenor; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Epworth United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Washington officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at Oakey's North Chapel, 540-362-1237.
