Dear Evelyn and Robert,
I will always remember meeting Chester, for the first time, on his porch looking out at the farmland that he loved so much. My visits with him were always very pleasant - Chester was certainly a special man. I believe Chester knew that he was also a very lucky man to have a wife like you, Evelyn, and a son like you, Robert. My deepest sympathy and most sincere condolences to you both.

To the Janney Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Janney. I had the great pleasure of getting to know him through his visits with Robert to James River Equipment. I will always remember him as very nice and considerate man. A father that deeply loved and respected his son Robert.
May God bless your family and bring you strength in the months ahead.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Janney will always, to me, be 'the cowboy' who chaperoned our school trip to Canada so many years ago. He was a wonderful person. You are all in my prayers.

Robert and Mrs. Janey, I hate to hear of Chester's passing. It seems like only yesterday that Chester and Tap were sitting on the tailgate telling tales of all sorts enjoying farm life. May the Lord be with you all and your families in this time.
God bless,

Evelyn, It was a joy to help take care of your dear husband, Chester, at the VA hospital. Your devotion and love for him was very obvious and a blessing to see. Chester was a pleasure to work with and many times made funny comments when being taken care of. He was a very special blessing to us. May God give you comfort and strength as you adjust to your life without the presence of your dear husband. I miss him already but know he is at peace with the Lord.
