To the family of Howard Wendell Harris, you all have our most sincere sympathies at this time. Words cannot express what you may be going through. For those of us who love Jesus Christ, we know that Wendy is at peace now. He is with the Lord in heaven. There are no more worries and no more concerns. There are only good memories of a brother, father, husband and friend that made people laugh. Those are the memories that we will carry with us for the rest of our lives. We had not seen Wendy in years. The last memory we have of Wendy was at Aunt Nona's house with the family gathered around. There was a lot of love, smiles and laughter talking with everyone. Then there was Wendy. He was always laughing and joking. That's what we will remember. His smile and laughter. We know he is happy and at peace now beyond our understanding. Dear family please remember if you ever need anything at all, don't hesitate to ask. Let's not let this time together be the last time we see each other. We will try to do our part by calling and checking in on you from time to time.
Love to you all,
The Kasey's, Karen, Byron and Beverly

My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of Wendle Harris, who was to me a good friend, musician, and mentor to myself and others as we were growing up in Roanoke. He was a very positive person you could look up to as a role model. I was very sadden to hear of his passing.
