Laura Evelyn Printz

Laura Evelyn Printz, 80, of Daleville, Va., at Carrington Place, and went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Laura was born in Roanoke on August 29, 1929, to Daniel C. and Bessie Randolph. Laura enjoyed life and loved to listen to classic country, watching soap operas, movies, cooking, roses and looking out the picture window as the train rolled by and wave at it. Laura is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Ayers and special friend, Jerry; her sons, Steven Printz, of Roanoke and Jack Printz, of Cloverdale; her grandchildren, Johnny Dunbar Jr., and his wife, Tammy, of Roanoke, Sherri Bennett and her husband, Scotty, of Troutville and Christi Dunbar and her boyfriend, Matt, of Salem; her greatgrandchildren, Dylan and Brittany Bennett, of Troutville, Hannah, Shane and Kacey Dunbar, of Roanoke; her brother, Bubby Randolph, of Roanoke; also many nieces, nephews and close friends. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel C. and Bessie Randolph; her husband, Eugene Printz; and grandson, Timmy Dunbar. Friends are welcome to call Tuesday, November 17, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, 630 Roanoke Road, Daleville. A funeral service celebrating Laura's life will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, 11 a.m. at Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Irving Glover.
