Carl Aker Obituary

Carl Atkins Aker Jr., 69, of Rural Retreat, Va., died on Tuesday, November 17, 2009. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. with the Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Aker, Brad Blevins, Chad Blevins, Jason Aker, Jamie Hamm, Matt Million and Coty Aker. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com. Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the Aker family.

Dear Rosemary,John L,
It was with shocked that we received the news of Carl Jr. death from our brother John, Martha and I want you to know that our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow.
We was always close to Carl Jr. I remember when he stay with us when we lived at Rockville,Md was always very fond of him. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time and also with his childern and families.Love to all Martha Grey and Margaret Faye Minnie's twins.
