Jeffery Carpenter Obituary
Jeffery Lynn Carpenter, age 59, died Saturday, August 23, 2008; was born to James Harris Carpenter and Norma Schoonover, March 25, 1949 in Charlottesville, Virginia; graduated from Culpeper County High School in 1967 and James Madison in 1971; taught school in the Criglers-ville Elementary School from 1972 until 1974 and was working for Artel Video Systems at his death.
Surviving Mr. Carpenter are his sons, J. Harris Carpenter and his companion Natalie Spring, of Durham, North Carolina, James Kelsie Carpenter, of Reston, Virginia and Toby Shane Carpenter and his wife, Melissa, of Long Beach, California; his sister, Kim C. Riddell and her husband, Richard, of Culpeper, Virginia and his grand-daughter, Kaleigh Alyssa Carpenter. There are two more grandchildren on the way.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Clore- English Funeral Home, Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Dr. Mark Warner conducting the service. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2654 Valley Avenue, Suite B, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
Condolences may be given at clore-english.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701.

I've known Jeff since his C & P telephone days in Richmond but have only learned of his death today, 10/19. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Jeff was a good friend and a great dad. He was so proud of his sons and his granddaughter. He will be missed.
