Edward Tiley Simpson



Edward Tiley Simpson, 72, of Culpeper, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born November 28, 1935 in St. Helen, England to the late William and Sally Simpson.

Mr. Simpson was a member of the Nokesville V.F.W. Post 10621. He was a peaceful man who enjoyed fishing and had a great love for his family and church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Earnhardt Simpson, two children, Jeffrey Simpson and Deborah Serrano, four step children, Cindy, Kenneth, John and Richard Little, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Reformation Lutheran Church with Pastor Brad Hales officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Mrs. Betty Simpson and Ashley Kilburn Trust c/o Stellar One Bank in Culpeper.
