Karl was a dear friend our families shared many fun times camping, playing golf, enjoying a campfire, playing cards and sharing fun times as families. Karl was a caring friend always willing to help in any way needed. He had a great love for his family and friends. He is truly missed.

I was shocked and saddened by Karl's sudden passing and offer my condolences to his family and friends. I personally appreciated the skills and experience he brought to us while working in the control center these past three years. We will miss him as a valuable coworker and as a friend.

I am sorry for your loss. Karl was a wonderful person to work with. When I first started working in Transmission a year ago it took me a few months to get to know Karl. It meant a lot to me the first time he came to my desk to show me pictures of his beautiful grandchildren. They were very lucky to have such a great grandpa that was so proud of them. Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Karl and I used to joke about who was late in the mornings. He'd usually be crossing the street toward the office when I came pulling in. No matter how cold it was outside he always stopped to give me an update on his family. Family was the most important thing to him. His grandkids were the world. I send you all my prayers and thoughts. I know someone always says things happen for a reason, but I cannot understand how such a wonderful person was taken from us so soon. As a fellow PGE worker, I miss him not being there. I will never forget Karl.
My warmest most heartfelt thougths are with the family.
Warmly, Marty

To Debra and Family . I would like to express my love and prayers for you and all of your family and friends. At the loss of Karl. I began school with Karl in the 'South End " back in the sixties. After high school I lost my way. I remember Karl as being a strong and secure young man in knowing who he was as a individual. He won my respect for ever one afternoon when after he had had enough of my pestering him he layed his metal lunch box up along my head. It did knock some sense into me. I never picked on him again. And I think from that point on I had a friend if I ever needed one. Debra, I would love to meet you and your family. I live in the area. Gods Peace... Bruce Odem

How sad to hear the news of Karl's passing, my heart, prayers & thoughts go out to all of you. When I think back of all the wonderful memories we have camping at the lot in Shelton, Lake Cushman & many other family events around the camp fire, playing games, golfing and on & on I think of Karl as a gentle, caring & loving friend always there to lend a hand & I always admired his love for his family. His work on earth is complete & peace be with him. May God surround all of you & give you comfort & peace. I have tried all day to call Dixie on the cell # she left but it doesn't go through & I keep getting someone else. Sorry. My love to all of you. Evelyn

I've always felt a special bond with Karl because of the many hours we spent with Mr. Wiley at Glendale JH. He always has been a quiet and thoughtful person. It is comforting to know he has touched so many lives. My condolences to his family.

The Jacobson's have many wonderful memories of Karl during our camping trips to the Schatz property in Shelton and Lk Cushman. Ella Jacobson used call him "the savior" because Karl had helped Jake & Ella find their way one time, when they were lost. He helped Rod & I a few times as well (it was a good laugh).

Also, Karl & I won "last" place (together) many years ago at one of the Schatz's golf tournaments. Neither one of us had golfed much (or ever)...we counted every stroke/penalty and took great pride in scoring over 200 for 18 holes (it was painful!)

If LOVE could have spared Karl from leaving us, he'd still be here.

Our Prayers & thoughts our with his family & dear friends.

My thoughts and prayers to Karl's family. I know personally what you must be going through. Not only did I go to school with Karl but I also lived in St. Johns, Az. many years ago. I wish for you: close friends to share your grief with; comfort knowing that he is in a better place; many wonderful memories of your life with him; and the belief that you will see him again one day.
Karl, please tell my sister that I miss her.

My thoughts and prayers to Debbie, Amanda and Tim. Karl was'nt only a brother-in-law but he was also a true friend. I know how much he loved his family. I miss all the weekends we shared at Lake Cushman sitting around the fire and waiting forever for Karl to get "to the point". Its hard for me to listen to the oldies station without thinking of Karl. Karl was a class act who's heart was full of love for everyone. He will be missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with Karls family. I know he will be missed. I had a chance to get to know Karl when he worked at the Trojan Plant. I remember viewing the latest pictures of his grandchildren on his computer every morning when I went to the Control Room. He was very proud of his grandkids and loved his family dearly. It was his favorite topic of conversation. I am a better person for knowing him.
