Clementine Petrone Obituary

Mrs. Clementine (Cangello) Petrone, 87, of Shrewsbury St. passed away Tuesday October 7th at Worcester Medical Center-St Vincent Hospital.

She is survived by her son, Anthony Petrone and his wife Virginia of Burlington, Ma.; a sister, Lucy DeFlavio and her husband Bill of Worcester; four grandchildren, Kristen Clifford, Brian Petrone, Jennifer Cedrone, and Joseph Petrone; eight great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Mary Jane Petrone Jenket; a sister in law, Irene Giarusso; two brothers in law, Anthony and Ralph Petrone; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Mrs. Petrone was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Petrone of 63 years; a son, Francis Petrone; a sister, Antoinette Grosse; and her grandmother, Angelina Terlizzi.

Born in Worcester, Novermber 27, 1920 a daughter of the late Frank and Dolores (Pedone) Cangello.

A lifelong resident of Worcester, Mrs. Petrone was educated through the Worcester Schools and was a graduate of Worcester Trade School. Upon her graduation from the Trade school she taught sewing classes at the school.

She work for over twenty years as a secretary at the Worcester County Court House for the Registry of Deeds up until her retirement. She loved to cook, go to the beach and be with her family.

Mrs. Petrone was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel- St Ann Church.

Her funeral will be held Saturday October 11th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the church. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
