Ann, John, and Susan,
Doug was a great and down-to-earth guy who, along with Cecil Salls, was hugely supportive of me during my time in scouts. Doug always spoke highly of me as a SPL, and even wrote a letter of recommendation for me in high school...and I will never forget it. I am sorry that he is gone and am saddened by your loss.

Our sincere sympathy to Ann, John, and Susan. There are wonderful memories of growing up with Doug, the family gatherings in Berlin, and summer work with Doug at Chedco. His exuberant laugh brings smiles, such a cheerful personality, such a good person. We're glad we had a chance to visit with him this past summer at the family reunion. We share your sorrow. Our prayers are with you and for you.
