Auntie Candy was the "cool" auntie who drove a VW bug in the 60s, visited us in SF in the 70s and took 7 yr. old me out to lunch and a nature walk near GG Bridge (to her horror inadvertantly coming upon a nudiest beach!). One of my fondest memories was when I stayed with her in Vermont as a nanny for newly born Emily and little David as she returned back to work. Candy taught me to appreciate rural life, garden grown vegetables, corn fields, plow horse rides and real VT maple syrup. She always made me feel special and, being one of four sisters, that meant a lot to me! She was artistic, created handmade greeting cards, always remembered birthdays, had an independent spirit, and was my mum's little sis. We love you Candy.
