Jan,
We know everyone is sending their sympathies, as are we but... We want to send best wishes in the days weeks, months even years ahead in having the courage to carry on without the best friend anyone could ever have... We are only a phone call away and about a 45 minute drive...you know this is no "smoke screen" we are always going to be there for you and when ever you get hungry the turkey & the trash can are ready and waiting. We love and will miss seeing you, Chip, Barney, Bailey, the Wilderness and of course the "boy's" hot tub....Life is not going to be the same for any of us and we cherish the times we have had and look forward as hard as it is to life down the road. We love you and Chip and will be in our hearts and heads forever. God bless.

Janet I was deeply saddened to hear about Chip. I always enjoyed talking about guitars and music with him and he opened a lot of doors with his friends that had similar interests. He was a pretty talented musician himself though he never would admit it. He would do anything for you and you never had to ask twice. The good Lord always holds a special place for people like Chip. God Bless and take care, you are in our prayers.

I have many fond memories of Chip at Cayuga Lake when he was part of our family, his early morning breakfast that he loved to cook, fishing, swimming and just always having a good time. He was kind of like a big brother. I missed him after he left and I was sad to hear that he's gone forever. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I am so sorry to hear this news this morning. I worked with Chip at Cutler-Hammer for eight years. He was a very nice man. I left some time ago, so I don't know when he stopped working, but I hope he had some chance to enjoy retirement before he got sick. My sincere condolences on your loss.
