Louise deLisle Obituary

Louise (LeMoal) deLisle, 97, formerly of Warwick, R.I., died peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2008 at the Clipper Home in Westerly. She was the wife of Raymond deLisle, who sadly predeceased her in 1967.
Born in Chateau Neuf duFaou, France on April 2, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Francois and Marie Anne (Lijoar) LeMoal.
Louise moved from France to the United States in 1928. She was employed for A.T. Cross Pen and Pencil Company in Lincoln, R.I. for over 25 years before her retirement.
She will be sadly missed by her two children, Germaine Whitman of Bradford, R.I. and Edward deLisle of North Kingstown, R.I. She also leaves 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Robert L. deLisle, and a grandson Robert L. deLisle, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, R.I. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private in St. Patricks Cemetery, East Greenwich, R.I.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the R.I. Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Ave, Providence, RI 02907 or the Bradford Johnnycake Center, 23 Industrial Drive, Westerly, RI 02891
