In honor of my great friend Nancy I put a boat into a river today. I couldn't shake the feeling that Nancy was along for the ride. Especially when I had a chance to get out and walk in the river and chase the minnows.
You made a huge difference in many lives, we won't forget you my friend!

'Cyli' taught me more than she or I probably ever realised at the time. Straight talking but always polite and respectful, she won over many hearts and minds in the backwaters of Usenet.

I had the pleasure of seeing Nancy on June 28 for the first time in 8 years. I am so grateful that I was able to spend some time with her and share many fond memories.

One of the last things Nancy told me was that she would never be giving me another Tarot reading. Thanks for being right (again), Cyli. That is the only thing I won't be missing. We'll save you an honorary seat at the poker table.

No one lives forever, but it still came as a complete shock to learn of Nancy's illness followed in less than 36 hours by the news of her passing.
We will miss her, remember her and hopefully make good use of the life lessons she taught us.
