Janice Wilson Obituary
If you asked Janice how she was in her last few days on earth, she would respond, "I'm going to Glory". Janice Marie Wilson went to Glory on November 5, 2017.
Janice was born in Goose Creek, TX on January 22, 1940. Janice graduated from the University of Texas in 1962 with a degree in Medical Technology. Her career included working as a Laboratory Technician in a hospital and Medical Research at UNM.
Janice was very interested in various aspects of medicine, especially alternative medicine. She attended the School in Oriental Medicine. She also obtained a license as a massage therapist.
Janice had many interests including Native American Arts and Ceremony and Lawrence of Arabia. She loved Irises and was actively involved in the Aril Society, serving as the International Membership Chairman.
She was best known for her dry humor and unique phrases.
Those who knew her well admired her for her compassion and generosity to others.
She is survived by many cousins and devoted friends.
At her request, there will be no services. She will be interred in the family plot in Texas.

Janice was my cousin. She was very smart and was an entertaining conversationalist. She had allergies and kept searching for a place which had fewer allergens in the environment. Unfortunately she never found that place. All of her friends and acquaintances loved her.
Till we meet again in glory by Jesus our Lord-God bless all who knew Jesus as Lord and Savior! Amen!

I visited Janice at the Carillon in Lubbock once. She was always searching for a place where she could escape her allergies. I dont think she ever found that place. I do miss her and I hope she has found prace with the Lord.
