Joseph Perea Obituary
Joseph Leo Perea, age 58, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on November 6, 1959 to Joseph and Pauline Perea.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa; daughters, Nicole (Santi) and Erica (Lukas); siblings, Danny, Terry (Tim), Paula (Jerome), and Renee (Stuart); as well as his six grandchildren, Savanah, Bre, Jr., J.J., Leo and Luca.
A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Strong-Thorne Funeral Home, 1100 Coal Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. A Rosary will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 8:15 am at St. Joseph's on the Rio Grande, 5901 St. Joseph's Dr. NW Albuquerque, NM 87120, with Mass to follow at 9 am.

I worked around Joe for many years. But had not seen him since I retired 11 years ago. But I was blessed to see him one more time, about 4months ago, for the last time. I saw him at an appointment that we both had , unexpectedly. I am so thankful for that. I pray peace and endurance to his entire family. I send my condolences.

My Condolences to Theresa, Nicole, Ericka and the entire Perea family.
Joey went home to soon, leaving behind only tears and memories. I will always remember him for his kindness and love for others. He was a good man with a big heart. He truly loved helping people and making a difference in there lives. He may of lived a short life but he made it as exciting and adventures as he could.
May God give him eternal rest. May God bless you all and give you strength and peace through the days ahead.
