I unfortunately just heard of the passing of Kevin. The Moran family was one of the closest knit families I know. Kevin was older than me but I would see him occasionally where his siblings played across the street at the schoolyard. What a great family and I know he is missed. My condolences to the family and may Kevin Rest in Peace.

I'm so sorry for the loss of kevin.
We were both branch 38 NALC. shop stewards. I retired in 2018 and just found out today when I asked a union official how my friend was. I enjoyed being with Kevin a t union meeting's and events. Always at monmouth park . He was so much fun all the time. When my son passed away suddenly he sought me out in atlantic city to give me his condolences. He was a great friend and the news of his passing shook me up. I will miss him . God speed Kev. I will always think of you and say a prayer when I'm at monmouth park.

Dear Moran family: I just opened the local paper and read of the passing of Kevin. I am very sorry for your loss. Kevin was always ready to give a smile and wave to you as he passed in the mail truck. I worked for years in Monmouth Beach and enjoyed knowing Kevin, not just as the mailman, but as a dedicated person with a great sense of humor and love for his family. May you find comfort and peace .

Myself, my husband & 2 grown children ... all of us have wonderful memories of Kevin throughout the 25 yrs we've lived here. He was a terrific spirit to encounter daily for many years. To Kevin's family...I feel like I know all of you...I have pictures on my phone that your Dad text me..showing off the latest Moran addition ..Kevin was one in a million & a true authentic person. He knew how to make that special human connection. I moved to Monmouth Beach in 2011 and Kevin 'the mailman' defined what neighborhood meant. I lived up north all my life and never knew my the name of my mail carrier
Yet with Kevin - I knew the names of his grandchildren, his favorite sports team, and what he was doing ;the weekend' Tears fill my eyes as I write this because Kevin you will be so missed - your community loved you both humans and pups

Kevin,
There are no words to say how sad I was to hear of your passing. You were always so kind to Eddie and I in good times and in bad. You always took the time to ask me how I was doing, always so caring. You were the BEST mailman ever. I will miss you and so will all your furry friends. Until we meet again may God hold you close. Prayers for your loving family.
