Mom I am so happy for the many days we sat on the front porch watching the children play in the yard as we talked and shared so many unforgetable moments. I will always cherish the times I took you with me and my family on numerous trips to St. Petersburg and Ft.Lauderdale Florida. Mom, you have always been the center of my universe. I am so thankful for the time God shared you with me. Within my heart I know you are never really gone-in spirit and in memory, your legacy lives on.

What a blessing it is for God to allow a person to live here on this earth and reach the golden age of 100 years old. Mother Huzlee Gilchrist was truly blessed to have accomplished this great blessing. It was a great honor to have known her and to know the family. But God knows best for all of us. So it is with this deepest respect for the family during this time of sadness, our prayers are with you so that you might find peace during your time of trial. She will be missed by those of the Harmony Baptist Church family. May God's blessings continue to be upon the family.
