M. Whaley McDonald

Retired Warren County Board of Education WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. M. Whaley McDonald, age 76, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Janie Teston McDonald, of S. Gibson Street, died October 15, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mr. McDonald, a native and life long resident of Warren County, was the son of the late George and Ruth Cato McDonald. He was retired from the Warren County Board of Education and a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge #11. Mr. McDonald attended Warrenton First United Methodist Church and served as a volunteer with the Golden Harvest Food Bank in Warren County. Survivors include a son and daughter in law, Mike and Lynn McDonald of Warrenton. Pallbearers will be Willis Stanley, Stanley Dallas, Don Kitchens, Jim Spence, Craig Dallas, Zach Dallas, and Roger Harrison. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Holliman, Barry Rivers, and Randy Henry. Friends may call at the residence of Mike and Lynn McDonald, 4698 Mitchell Road, Warrenton. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening at Lowe Funeral Home.
