Sarah Crozier Obituary
Mrs. Crozier was a native of Willacoochee, GA, having made North Augusta home for the past 67 years. She was an All-State basketball player at Willacoochee High School and a graduate of Mount Berry College where she earned a bachelor's degree in Education. While at college, Mrs. Crozier served as president of the Syureh Literary Society and the Dramatic Club, secretary of the Inter-Society Council, and Worthy Playwrite in the National Kappa Alpha Chapter. A member of Willacoochee First Baptist Church, she locally attended Belvedere United Methodist Church. Mrs. Crozier was a retired teacher with 42 years of service at Belvedere Elementary. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and being involved in the community. Mrs. Crozier was predeceased by her late husband of 42 years, William F. Crozier.
Survivors include a daughter, Frances (Gary) Hom, North Augusta; a grandson, Sam (Eleanor) Nicholson, Charlottesville, VA; three great-grandchildren, Beatrice, Veronica, and Simon Nicholson; a brother, Jimmy (Pinky) Mills, Willacoochee, GA; a cousin, Cyndy Ledbetter, North Augusta; and a nephew, Michael Mills, Lenexa, KS.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jule Blume, John Blume, Dale Dangerfield, Johnny Dangerfield, Steven Dangerfield, Robbie Dangerfield, and Jamie Dangerfield.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5 until 7.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
