Theodore Moten Sr.

GROVETOWN, Ga. - SFC (Ret.) Theodore F. Moten, Sr. entered into rest Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, 1814 15th Street, Augusta, with Reverend Avis L. Snearl, pastor-officiating. The family will receive friends at Ward Chapel A.M.E. Church, Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. **There will be no visitation or viewing on Monday. Theodore Franklin Moten, Sr. was born February 11, 1941 and entered eternal rest on May 19, 2013. Frank was a resident of Grovetown, Georgia. Frank was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, the third child born to Rosa and John Moten. He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Emily A. Moten of Grovetown, GA; three daughters, Maria Hightower of Spring Hill, FL, Roseann Pride, Grovetown, GA, Alana Alexandre (Thierry), of Colorado Springs, CO; two sons, Kenneth Moten, of Roanoke, VA, and Theodore Franklin, Jr. (Sheri), of Charlestown, WV; two sisters, Annabell Owens, of Gaithersburg, MD, Helen Johnson, of Kensington, MD; one brother, Bishop John S.
