Frances Garcia Obituary

Frances C. (Pancha) Garcia, 71, of Phoenix, AZ passed away December 8, 2004. She was born in Gonzales, TX on October 7, 1933. Frances devoted her life to her husband of 46 years and her children. She is survived by her husband; Lupe R. Garcia, Sr., daughters; Sandra Cain, MaryLou Severe, Rachel Castro, sons; Richard, Danny, Lupe, Jr., nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sisters, and two brothers. Visitation, Monday, December 13, 2004, 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., with Rosary at 7:00 P.M., A.L. Moore Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road. Funeral Mass, Tuesday, December 14, 2004, at 10:00 AM, St. Catherine of Siena, 6401 South Central Avenue.

Although our relationship was always a distant one, because of where we live, Panchita was always a wonderful cousin who was well loved and regarded by those of us in Texas who knew her. Her presence was appreciated at every event that was important to family. My parents Epifanio and Magdalena really loved her and Lupe, and after their visits they spoke at lengh about their adventures. That is how I will remember her and pray that now all the family will honor her life. We will miss her. God Bless You.
