Our Mother: gone but not forgotten.
I was honored to pay tribute to
you and I will never be able
to adequately reciprocate back
to you, all the love and kindness
you showed my son from his birth
to adulthood. This alone means
more to me than I can express.
I Love You, Perrine

I am Mom's second oldest daughter.
I am comforted at the fact that I knew a lot about her and got closer to her in recent years. However, I didn't know until after Mom passed that she gave to a ton of charities..... in fact, she probably gave to everyone who asked. I knew Mom was a kind, gentle, sweet, loving person, but I didn't realize how great an example she was of how to love others and show kindness to others.
My Mom was a true example of a Christian because she was truly non-judgemental. Her acceptance of all people was awe-inspiring.
Mom loved to take care of her family, and you could come into her home day or night and feel welcome. In fact, when you did visit her you were more likely fed and comforted because she was happiest when she could give you something to eat.
I only wish to become more like her as I continue on this journey called life.
I love you Mom.

As the oldest of moms six children I remember mom's beautiful smile. I remember She was always there for all of us. I remember She always listened and had great motherly advise. Mom was always kind to everyone. I remember Mom's love for books. I'll always remember Mom as the greatest most loving person. How lucky I am to have her for my Mom.

Mom, I wasn't close to you when I was a child. But as I've grown to know you I began to love you very much. You were intelligent, enjoyed a variety of things, had a sense of humor, and were so very caring and loving. You were a source of inspiration to me. God gave you had a special talent and keen eye for decorating. What a beautiful person you were in all ways. I'm happy because you are with the Lord.

Even tho I have known the O'Bannon family for many years (Maureen)I only got to know Marcella after Glen passed away. She had an infectious smile, and welcomed all into her home. She loved my brother, as her own, he became the 7th child while living in her home. She provided shelter for Dan, he provided his many handyman skills helping her redo her house the way she wanted it.Her legacy of Christ for her children and grandchildren, was the best part of who she was.
She will be missed by many.

God smiled upon the earth the day Marcella was born. As the mother of six beautiful children, grandmother of twelve adored grandchildren, and great-grandmother of seven darling angels, she has left her mark on the world in a big way. I will miss her gentle voice and loving smile.

My Grandmother Marcella was a beautiful and graceful woman. She taught me what family is, just by being the kind, caring person that she was. I will never forget her, because she has instilled a part of herself in me, and in all of my family. I love you Grandma, and I will miss you so very much.

Marcella has been a ray of sunshine in the OBannon family. She always displayed a quick wit, a twinkle in eye with her smile, and she lived for her family. She bragged about her children, her grand children and her great-grandchildren. She shared her joy with friends like me, and I am enriched from her friendship. Thanks.
