Jerome Fults Obituary
Jerome R. "Jerry" Fults, 74, of Millstadt, Ill., born Nov. 16, 1939, in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Fults retired from J-C Hauling. He was a member of Teamsters Local 50.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Hilda, nee Stechmesser, Fults; sister Mary Brueggemann; and brothers, Russell, Ronald, and Norman Fults. Surviving are his wife, Patricia A., nee Shields, Fults; children, Diane (Rudy) Diefenbach, Dean (Diana) Fults, Darryl (JoAnn) Fults, Donna (Kenny) Harbaugh, and Darren (Amy) Fults; 11 grandchildren, Rudy (Keri) Diefenbach, Chris (Tracey) Diefenbach, Andy (Amanda) Diefenbach, Ashley Fults (Ricky Schmidt), Dean Fults Jr., Holly Fults, Justin Fults, Adam Fults, Olivia Fults, Taylor Harbaugh, and MaKenzie Harbaugh; four great-granddaughters, Jordyn, Breanna, Kamryn, and Ava Diefenbach; sisters, Helen Godare, Darlene (Ben) Yancy, and Judy Krebel; and sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, and 8 to 9:15 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 7, 2014, at Quernheim Funeral Home, Waterloo, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Red Bud, Ill., with Father Clyde Grogan officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Fults, Ill.

Doc, may you rest in peace. You were always one of my favorite JC Drivers. Our families go way back. To Doc's family always remember the great times you shared with him. Sorry I can't make it to the funeral, but you are in my prayers.
