Lillian Steinhardt Obituary
Lillian "Verrell" Steinhardt, nee Archie, 86, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Belleville, Ill., born Oct. 25, 1921, in Belleville, Ill., died Monday, June 2, 2008, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. "Chalk" Steinhardt; parents, Allen and Willie, nee Crabtree, Archie; brother, Gordon Archie; and sisters, Helen Williams and Addie Oliver.
She is survived by her daughters, Della (Bob) Kraft of Columbia, Ill., and Margie Bernier of St. Louis, Mo.; sister, Shirley Ward of Bellville, Texas; grandchildren, Charles "Chip" (Debi) Bruce, Dr. Michael (Shelly) Bernier, Julie (Chad) Warren, and Jill Springer; great-grandchildren, Taylor (Emily) Bruce, Maggie Bruce, Derek Bernier, Gabrielle Bernier, Alexandria Bernier, Matthew Bernier, Mallory Warren, Charles Springer, and Lily Springer; brother-in-law, Charles Oliver of Belleville, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Association
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008, at Kurrus Funeral Home Chapel with Charles T. Bruce Jr., officiating. Burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
