Wendy O'Connor Obituary

HOUSATONIC - Wendy Sue O'Connor, 51, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Housatonic on Feb 10th.

Wendy was born Nov 16, 1965 in Great Barrington, MA to the late Frederick and Judith Schneider.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Great Barrington where she sang in their choir as well as other local groups over the years.

She loved people in general, and enjoyed all the friendly interactions she was able to have throughout the years while she worked at Ames, Reid's Cleaners, KMart, and Big Y Supermarket. Wendy's greatest passion was always her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Amanda Steben and husband Michael, and Alyssa O'Connor; two sisters, Lisa St. Pierre and husband Lord, and Heidi Delaney and husband Paul. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Adam, Brenna, Selena, Natalie, and Casey, and Selena's sons, Jackson and Greyson.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at the First Congregational Church at 251 Main St in Great Barrington, MA on Sun, Feb 19th at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Berkshire Humane Society through FINNERTY & STEVENS FUNERAL HOME, 426 Main Street, Great Barrington, MA 01230.

God recieved another Angel this week. Her wings are secured. I will so miss this world without my dear friend Wendy, She and I had spoken of ski diving together "some day". I hope she's having fun using her new wings..My heart aches for you Lisa, I love you and your family like you were my own! I'm so sorry I won't be able to get to Gt. Barrington tomorrow.
